Proverbs 25:11 A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver. Apples of Gold is a Stoa Speech and Debate club located in Lynnwood, Washington. We believe speech and debate is a powerful avenue to advance the kingdom of God. We strive to embody this verse by learning to speak well in all situations with a focus on character. Our club meets in-person every other week for speech practice and online every week for debate coaching. The families are a fun-loving group with students ranging from experienced competitors in upper high school to younger siblings who participate in junior tournaments. We are also known for our love of competition and spirit of camaraderie. Apples of Gold hosts the celebrated Espresso Cup tournament every spring. We welcome interested families to visit a club meeting, ask questions, and get to know us!
