Gold Country Debate

Gold Country Debate Club is a Christian speech and debate club located in Sonora, California, serving students and families throughout Tuolumne County and the surrounding Gold Country region. Our goal is to help students grow in confidence, critical thinking, communication, research, and public speaking skills through participation in STOA USA speech and debate. Students learn how to develop strong arguments, analyze important issues, communicate their ideas clearly, and respond respectfully to opposing viewpoints. We strive to provide a supportive, encouraging environment where students can sharpen their skills, build friendships, and grow in character while preparing for STOA tournaments and competition. Gold Country Debate Club welcomes homeschool students and families who want to learn, compete, and develop lifelong communication and leadership skills.
