Legacy PA

Vision:
This club was birthed from the legacy of Dakota Miller, a 17 year old, who competed in Stoa passionately with his Colorado club for 4 years, until he entered into eternal rest in October 2023. The Miller family would now like to share their son’s passion, here in the community of Lancaster, so that his memory will live on and our community of homeschoolers can experience the enormous benefits from Stoa that Dakota Miller did. 

Why Lancaster County? After Dakota passed away, his best friend who lives in PA stepped in to debate with David, who was Dakota's debate partner. In the words of Dakota, everyone needs to do speech and debate. The desire to bring STOA to PA came from Tyler debating and his family seeing the need to bring it locally to PA. Lancaster County now has more than 1 club, and is growing at a rapid speed. Legacy exists as online for right now. There are 2 local clubs who meet in person. As we embark on this journey to carry that Legacy forward , by establishing our “Roots” firmly in
Christ we anticipate leaving a “Legacy” for generations to come ..
