Mars Hill meets on most Thursdays for in-person Speech coaching from 12:30-2:00pm; snack break from 2:00-2:15; Debate coaching 2:15-5:30 We host three tournaments per season, Cactus Clash in the fall (debate decision in room!) and Camelback Classic in the spring, plus Clash of the Titans (April, also decision in room, prep for NITOC!). Our member families are primarily from the Phoenix Metro area, although some make the drive all the way from Tucson. Mars Hill believes in parent involvement and student leadership. We contract with professional coaches as well as with alumni who still live in the area. We know how to work hard, but also take time to play! Our socials are an important part of building community between families and students.
