Colossians 4:6 says, “Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer everyone.” SALT was created to do just that - train students to be eloquent communicators that are able to engage with anyone and present intelligent arguments from a Biblical worldview with grace.
