Mandatory Electronic Script Submission
Online script submission if for Varsity Speech Competitors Only. If you have a Junior or JV Speech Competitor, please click on that tab on the homepage. From there, you can print out the script submisson form that you will bring to the tournament.
**If your speech was approved for the 2025 Voices of Liberty Tournament or the 2026 Crystal Coast Classic AND you have made no changes, please send the script and the tournament approval email to carolinascriptsubmission@gmail.com for All-American Classic approval.**
Please mark these dates on your calendar! Missing these dates will result in you being dropped from the speech event and $10 drop fee being applied to your account.
Initial Script Submission: Due by Thursday, February 5
Corrected and Final Script Submission: Thursday, February 12
All scripts must be submitted by the deadlines above to avoid being dropped from your event(s). You will receive a confirmation email once your script has been received and approved.
WHO: Competitors who are entered in the following events must submit scripts for approval.
Interpretive Speeches: Dramatic, Duo, Humorous, Open Interp
Platform Speeches: Expository, Original Oratory, Persuasive
Wild Card Event: Slam Poetry

WHAT:
Each script submission should include the following pages:
-Signed script submission form for each speech event
-Typed copy of the speech script
-Works cited page (for Original Oratory, Persuasive, and Expository)
-Highlighted photocopy of the original source text, including added words (for Dramatic
Interp, Duo Interp, Humorous Interp, Slam Poetry, and Open Interp)
HOW:
1. Read your Speech Event Rules here
2. Script Submission Forms here
3. PREPARE your SCRIPT SUBMISSION FORM with your parent or coach. Include initials and signatures. Be sure "All-American Classic" is listed as the tournament.
4. COMBINE each speech into a single file in PDF or JPEG only. Scan into a single file. Please name files like this: Event-FirstName Last Name (i.e. Persuasive-John Smith). Combine each speech into a single PDF file. The free version of Adobe gives you the capability to combine PDFs into a single document.
