Extempers!
The Extemp Prep room will be located in the Worship Center foyer, please check facility map
We will NOT be supplying electrical cords and power strips in the prep room. If you need one for your computer, please bring that yourself.
• First draw will be at the start of each round. Please prioritize Extemp postings first to make sure you don't miss first draw.
• Extemp has priority! If you are in other speech events in this pattern, be sure you schedule your time so you do not miss your draw time. The times are fixed and if you are late to the prep room, your prep time is shortened. Speaker positions cannot be switched or changed.
• The number of electrical outlets in the Prep Room is limited. It is highly recommended that your device is fully charged and independent! Please bring your own electrical extension cords and power strips for the Prep Room.
• Make sure everything is labeled...your laptop, extension cords, books, brief case, etc.
• Make sure to collect your belongings from the Prep Room after you have completed your last Extemp speech for the day.
• This tournament will be run in accordance with the Extemporaneous Rules on the Stoa website. The Extemp Prep Room Protocol has a special section for competitors. Make special note of these Competitor Responsibilities.
