Script Submission opens: April 1, 2025 (no kidding) at 8:00 AM
Script Submission closes: April 11, 2025 at 10:00 PM
Corrections deadline: April 16, 2025 at 10:00 PM
No scripts will be accepted after script submission closes. Any script not submitted will result in a drop from the event and incur a $20 drop fee.
Any script not approved by the corrections deadline will result in a drop from the event and will incur a $20 drop fee.
Any competitor(s) entered in the following events must submit scripts for approval:
Interpretive Speeches (4): Dramatic, Duo, Humorous, Open
Platform Speeches (3): Expository, Original Oratory, Persuasive
Wild Card Speech (1): Slam Poetry
Directions for Submission:
1. Only ONE speech can be submitted at a time. DO NOT combine more than one speech per document.
2. Read and complete the appropriate Script Submission Form. These can be found HERE.
3. Combine your completed submission form and your speech into ONE PDF document. For interps, be sure to include both the typewritten script and the scanned/photocopied script.
4. Properly name your document (Last name, First name - Event).
