Speech Only Check-In: Friday (7:00 AM)

Registration: 

Opens: Monday, February 3 at 10:00 am Eastern
Closes: Monday, February 17 at 12:00 pm Eastern

Public Forum Debate
Most Stoa Speech events
Junior/JV Speech events

Script submission: 

Opens on Feb. 3rd and closes on Feb. 27. 

Tournament Fees:

Each registration (a family can register all participants on one registration) is assessed a fee of $40.

Other fees are as follows:
Debaters - $35 per debater
Individual Events - $15 per event

Lunches may also be purchased during registration.

Payment is via this website, and processed by Stripe. All fees must be paid by the close of registration to retain your spot(s) in your chosen events.

There will be a $25 late fee per competitor for registrations after February 17th, if a registration is allowed by the Tournament Director.

Refund Policy: Payments are required by the close of registration on February 17th, 2024. No refunds will be issued after this date and drops will incur a fee of $25.00 per event. Space is limited. Early registration is encouraged. Before registration closes, adds and drops will not incur any extra fees, and all drops will be refunded (minus processing fees).

You must be fully registered to ensure your spot. After registration closes, we reserve the right to eliminate registrations that are not complete and you may lose your spot/s. A completed registration includes the following by the close of registration on February 17th.
1. Full payment
2. Registration of at least one parent judge
3. All initial script submissions must be turned in by February 27th.
4. Both partners must be fully registered for any event that requires two students such as duos or TP debate.

Stoa Membership

Your family must be a member of Stoa to compete. Please follow this link Stoa Membership to register. 

This tournament meets the minimum tournament standards of Stoa for speech and debate.

Parent Participation

All students must have a parent or adult chaperone present and inside the building(s) during the entire tournament.
If a parent cannot attend, prior approval and an alternative contribution must be arranged with the tournament director for the student to be allowed to participate. 

  • Each parent will be responsible for judging at least 6 rounds. (See Parent Page for more details.)
  •  Not fulfilling judging obligations may result in disqualification from the tournament. Thank you for your cooperation.
