Registration for Community and Alumni Judges

THANK YOU for your interest in judging at our Speech and Debate Tournament!!! We rely on community support to help our tournament run smoothly!!!

This page will walk you through the registration process and will allow you to pick the time that works best for you to judge.

When choosing a time to serve as judge, please consider we ask you arrive to Judge Check-In one hour prior to your selected speech or debate round in order to receive an orientation. Even if you have served as a judge in the past, we kindly ask all judges receive orientation training every year.

During Judge Orientation, you will be given a good overview of the events and the judging process at the tournament.

Also if you arrive early, stop by Judge Hospitality where you will find a variety of good things to eat and drink. These goodies will also be available while you are completing your ballot.

You will receive an e-mail giving details about check-in, judge orientation, etc. approximately a week prior to the tournament.

Although it is not required, we welcome you to preview our judge training slides linked below prior to attending our tournament. These are the slides we will use to train all judges for our Speech and Debate events on tournament day. Please feel free to read them and become familiar with them.
