Thank you for making such a huge impact on these student's lives. We're so grateful for you!
This tournament is sponsored by a local homeschool co-op, EDGE (edgehomeschool.com). All tournament fees will be directed through them. You cannot pay at the StoaHub payment screen. You must come back to this page and click the link below.
EDGE is able to receive payment through Zelle using the email edgereg4@gmail.com. Please put the name of your students in the memo line so funds can be linked to your registration. If you’re unable to pay through Zelle, please email probaomniadebate@gmail.com to make arrangements. All fees must be paid in full by January 9, or competitors may be dropped from the tournament.
A $20 student meal package is available and includes dinner Friday night, Saturday lunch, a snack, and Saturday dinner. Our meal breaks are short (30 minutes) so we encourage debaters to plan ahead for meals. Sign up during registration and make payments to EDGE Homeschool (see above). Parents who are judging or volunteering are invited to enjoy the complimentary meals in the Judge’s room. Other family members are encouraged to bring something for themselves to enjoy!
We have a block of rooms reserved at Hyatt Place (in Warrenville) for $115/night, held until Jan 5, 2026. To book call, 800-590-2796 or online at Speech and Debate Team, Group code: G-SPDE.
If you’re interested in Host Housing, please probaomniadebate@gmail.com to inquire about availability.
This is a Stoa qualifying tournament, and membership in Stoa is required to participate.
Dress code will be business professional. Students should stay in tournament attire throughout the duration of the tournament.
We will do our best to accommodate everyone on a waitlist. Students will be moved from the waitlist as space becomes available, in the order they registered.
