This status means only registration drops are allowed. There are no new entries allowed but families can drop entries.
This status means registration is currently closed for the tournament. There are no adds or drops allowed. Please contact the tournament director with any questions.
This status means the tournament is completed.
For the High Altitude Challenge,
we are offering TWO options for Script Submission, both a FastTrack and a Standard process.

WHO needs to submit scripts? Competitors who are entered in all Interpretive, Platform, and Wild Card speeches.
· Interpretive Speeches: Dramatic, Duo, Humorous, Open
· Platform Speeches: Expository, Original Oratory, Persuasive
· Wild Card Speech: Slam Poetry
Script Submission Opens: Saturday, March 22, 2025, 10am (MST)
Script Submission Closes: Friday, March 28, 2025, 11pm (MST)
Approval Deadline: All scripts MUST be approved on or before Monday, March 31, 2025, 7:00pm (MST) in order to be eligible for competition in that event.
ALL scripts MUST be submitted electronically by the above closure date AND approved on or before the approval deadline. NO LATE SCRIPTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Scripts not in compliance by the approval deadline will be dropped from that event with no refund.
Our reviewers communicate via email, so it is imperative that you check your email frequently once you have submitted. You will only have 24 hours to make your necessary corrections and resubmit your script for approval. Please be respectful of this timeframe and prompt in working with your reviewer.
· FastTrack Process: If you have received approvals from any Rocky Mountain Stoa tournaments (CO or NE), Little Tournament on the Prairie (KS), Green Country Challenge (OK), Legacy Competere (PA), or Camelback Classic (AZ), and have NOT made any changes to your script, then you are eligible for this process. Here is what you need to do:
1. Make sure your submission form reflects this tournament: HAC.
2. Click forward on the approval Email you wish to use.
3. BEFORE sending, attach your entire submission packet in ONE PDF file.
4. Edit your subject line so that it reads: HAC: Last Name, First Name_Event.
5. Send your Email and attachment to: StoaScriptsCo@gmail.com
6. You will receive an approval Email from one of our reviewers.
Please do not send in a FastTrack submission until March 22, 2025,
when our submission officially opens.
· Standard Process: If you do not have an approval from any of the above listed tournaments OR you have made changes to your script, this is the process you will use. Read on for all the details.
HOW can I be make sure my speeches are submitted correctly? Follow all of the guidelines below, using the HELPS provided, and you will be on your way to a speedy approval!
1. WATCH this TUTORIAL, YES, even if you've watched it in the past. Knowing EXACTLY what to do simplifies the review/approval process for your reviewer and you!

4. Prepare your script and submission form WITH your parent or coach. Include ALL initials and ALL signatures. Submission forms MUST have the current tournament listed!
5. COMBINE each speech into a SINGLE file in PDF format only. You may scan into single file or use a file joiner. We recommend the App, Genius Scan, for scanning from your phone and the file joiner, ADOLIX, which is a free download to your computer.
REMINDER: Please title your file correctly, using the instructions given on the TUTORIAL.
6. When you have completed all of the above, you may submit your script(s) HERE .

Registration Fees
Team Policy - $40.00 per debater
Lincoln Douglas - $40.00
Speech - $45.00 each for first 3 events - $17.00 for each additional event - limit of 6 events
A Completed Registration Includes:

Please Note: Full payment is expected by the close of registration. After the close date, there will be an added $30 late charge as long as full payment is made within the week after registration closes. If full payment is not received by one full week after registration closes, the student will be dropped from all events with no opportunity to be added back in.
Refund Policy
Before registration closes - adds and drops will not incur any extra fees, and all drops will be fully refunded.
After registration closes - no refunds will be made and drops will incur a fee of $15.00 per event.

Events can and do fill up. If this happens, those who have a completed registration will be given priority for all available event slots as they open up.
