INLAND EMPIRE EPILOGUE

Colosians 4:6

Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt,

that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

THE RIVER CHURCH

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30

This debate ONLY tournament is intended to give Lincoln Douglas Debaters an opportunity to practice their 3rd resolution cases before they head to NITOC. Why should LDers have all the fun??? We will be offering Parli and Team Policy too! Due to scheduling constrictions LD will be double flighted with Parli. This means the schedule will allow LD students to participate in both LD and Parli.  LD will occur in flight one of each round and parli will occur in flight 2 of each round.  However, TP students will not be able to register to compete in Parli. We hope you will join us.

Registration Opens: Friday,  April 11th at 10:00 a.m.

Registration Closes: Wednesday, April 23rd at 8:00 p.m.

As we develop the tournament website, the tabs along the left side will contain much information.  Please take some time to review them.  If you find that you still have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at EPIC2Tournaments@gmail.com with any questions or suggestions for the tournament.  Please do not contact the church regarding anything related to the tournament.  All inquiries of any kind should be sent to the tournament leadership at colloquiumtournaments@gmail.com.

To God Be The Glory!

Tournament Fees:

$40 for each debate event

Parent Judging Responsibility:

As always, we seek to run a tournament that runs on time and produces sound results.  In order to have at least three judges in all speech rounds and enough debate judges, every student must attend the tournament with a parent who will judge every other round (i.e. three rounds).

  • Each competitor must have a PARENT present at the tournament who judges every other round (i.e. at least three rounds).

  • Students will need to have their PARENT physically with them at check in and the parent must remain at the tournament to judge every other round.
