QualifyingThank you for your interest in judging at our tournament. Watch the video below and sign up below. Thank You!
You can judge as little as one round or multiple rounds. We have 55 competitors coming from all over the state, and we need around 160 community judges. We will have food there to serve you as a thank you. We are relying heavily on our community to make this tournament a success. BRING A FRIEND with you.
The time commitment is approximately 3 hours. This includes arriving about 30-45 minutes before the first round that you will judge, going through judge orientation, receiving your ballots, watching the speeches in your assigned room, and then filling out your ballots. There will be plenty of food and beverages to enjoy while you are judging. We provide judge orientation before the rounds to give you the proper training needed to assess the performances.
Please consider this opportunity to bless these homeschool speech and debate competitors so that they can receive valuable feedback and grow in their speaking and debating skills. Once you click on the blue "Register Now" button, you will be able to see all of the different time slots that are available. Please note, you will need time to fill out your ballots, so please allow that time when registering your time slots. Typically you want to sign up for every other event to allow for that time. I believe you will be blessed by the speeches you hear and the debates you watch. Please know that you do not have to judge both speech and debate; you may choose to judge only speeches, only debates, or both. It's up to you. Just click on the "Register Now" button and sign yourself up.
