Stoa's mission is to train homeschool students to speak boldly and change the world for Christ and we cannot do it without YOU!
What is the time commitment?
You will need 3 to 3.5 hours, which includes time for orientation, judging a round, and completing ballots.
The following is the approximate time you will be needed per round:
TP/LD Debate Round: 3 hours
Parli Debate Round: 2.5 hours
Speech Round: 3.5 hours
Please click on SCHEDULE for the full tournament schedule. When you register, you will be able to select event times that fit your schedule.
Light refreshments, including coffee, tea, and assorted small bites, will be served.
For all rounds, please arrive 1 hour before the round start time to receive Judge Orientation. Judge Orientation is required to familiarize you with the format and judging criteria and give you a comprehensive overview of what to expect and how to handle judging responsibilities.
Judge orientation staff will also be available to answer questions after the round.

Please click the "Register Now" button below to sign up. If you decide to judge multiple rounds, please do not choose rounds that are back-to-back as there is not enough time to complete your ballot before the very next round begins.
