2026 Patrick Henry College Challenge

UPDATES FROM PHC SCRIPT REVIEW TEAM:

PLEASE NOTE: Scripts can only be submitted through StoaHub via the admin account which usually belongs to the parent. Log in to your admin account, go to the Script Submission page for PHC Challenge, and scroll down to the bottom to upload your script(s). 

DO NOT DELETE SCRIPTS DURING CORRECTIONS.

It is really important. ESPECIALLY once the deadline is passed, do not delete a submitted script.  

Corrections Process:

-An email will be sent to the parent account asking for you to log in to review the note from the reviewer.
-Review and correct changes.

-Scroll down PAST the initial upload section to the "SCRIPT SUBMISSION REVISIONS" section. This is where you upload your corrected script. 

Emailed Scripts (over 10MB) will be in a 'missing' status until approved. Those corrections will be done through email and then manually updated in StoaHub to approved. Send large scripts to scripts.vector@gmail.com. 

All Varsity Competitors with prepared speeches must complete the script submission process using the NEW Stoa Hub Script Submission Process

WHO: 
Varsity Competitors who are entered in the following events must submit scripts for approval
Interpretive Speeches: Dramatic, Duo, Humorous, Open
Platform Speeches: Expository, Original Oratory, Persuasive
Wild Card Event: Slam Poetry

WHAT:
Each script submission should include the following pages:
-Signed script submission form for each speech event
-Typed copy of the speech script
-Works cited page (for Original Oratory, Persuasive, Expository and Slam Poetry)
-Highlighted photocopy of the original source text, including added words (for Dramatic
Interp, Duo Interp, Humorous Interp, and Open Interp)

Opens: February 19, 2026 at 8:00 am Eastern

Corrections Close: February 27 at 11:59 pm

Early submissions:

For every script that is submitted before 11:59pm on Feb 22nd, your name will be entered into a raffle for gift cards to Chick-Fil-A, Starbucks and more! Raffle drawing will take place some time during the tournament. 

 All script resubmissions must be submitted by February 27, 2026 at 11:59 pm to avoid being dropped from that event. You will receive a confirmation email once your script has been received and approved. 

Before Submitting

1. Follow the rules for your event
2. Watch the short Rapid Review & Approve video (some information has changed)
3. Download the Script Submission Guidelines and Form for your event
4. Combine each speech into a single PDF file
   (Tip: A PDF phone scanner app works great.)
5. Name the file correctly: Last Name, First Name – Event.pdf

Submitting Through StoaHub

• Only family admins can submit scripts in StoaHub
  Admin roles can be edited under My Family → Roles
• Under "Actions" below, click "Choose File" to upload your script
• Your script will be approved or returned with revision requests through the StoaHub chat
• Please make any required updates and resubmit promptly
