The NITOC Dress code is currently under review and therefore is not being adhered to for this tournament. TDC encourages modest and professional business attire. Judges will be asked to reflect this on their ballots. The only dress code requirements being enforced at TDC are listed below:
- Shirts should not gap (this includes midriff) or show cleavage. This must be observed even during vigorous activities like interpretation speeches.
- The bottom hem or edge of skirts and dresses may be no shorter than two (2) inches above the top of the knee when standing. Knee length -or longer- skirts & dresses are requested.
- No sleeveless or spaghetti strap dresses or shirts are permitted without an accomanying sweater, jacket or blazer worn for the entirety of the tournament, including in the student lounge.
- Yoga style pants are not permitted.
If a student is not in compliance with these requirements, they willnot be permitted to compete until in compliance with the dress code.
