Scripts are due by December 23, 2025 at midnight. Save some stress and submit before Christmas.
Please have your club coach review your script prior to your submission to save yourself some edits. Script submission form must be signed by your Coach.
Competitors who are entered in the following events must submit scripts for approval:
Interpretive Speeches: Dramatic, Duo, Humorous, Open
Platform Speeches: Expository, Original Oratory, Persuasive
Wild Card Speech: Slam Poetry
Instructions:
1. READ THE RULES for your speech event located on StoaHub.org under Member Benefits|Speech, Debate & Tournament Resources|Speech Documents.
2. READ THE script submission REQUIREMENTS and GUIDELINES located on StoaHub.org under Member Benefits|Speech, Debate & Tournament Resources|Speech Submission Forms and Resources.
3. PREPARE your SCRIPT SUBMISSION FORM with your parent or coach. Include initials and signatures.
4. COMBINE all required documents into ONE FILE in .pdf format. The following is a list of suggestions on how to combine files:

Use a printer to scan into a single .pdf file

Use a program to combine all documents like pdfjoiner.com, ilovepdf.com, or other similar site

Use your phone to scan documents

Use the Google Drive app on your mobile phone. (Open Google Drive and tap the camera icon in the bottom right, above the + sign.)
5. NAME YOUR FILE using the following naming format: Last Name, First Name - event.pdf For example: Nieva, Beth.DI.pdf
6. Upload to StoaHub

You may be asked to bring a printed copy of your script to the Tournament so we can show you some edits.
Note: Approval of scripts at the Winter Warm-up does not guarantee NITOC or future tournament approval.
