Fortify Speech & Debate meets on Thursdays in Flower Mound, TX. We seek to train students to communicate truth boldly, lead faithfully, and proclaim Christ until He comes. Through weekly instruction and practice, we equip homeschool students ages 12–18 for senior-level speech and debate competition. Junior opportunities for younger students may also be available as resources permit.

About Fortify

Fortify is a Christian homeschool speech and debate club affiliated with Stoa.

Through speech and debate, students develop communication skills, critical thinking, leadership, and Christlike character. We desire to see students grow in their faith and walk with Jesus during their time in Fortify.

• Fortify is a competitive club. Students are expected to prepare consistently, participate regularly, and pursue growth throughout the year both at club meetings and at home. Families should also expect to participate in speech and debate tournaments throughout the season.

• Families participate through Stoa and are expected to maintain an active Stoa membership and meet Stoa membership requirements.

• We host an annual Stoa tournament each February, providing students and families with an opportunity to compete, serve, and welcome speech and debate families from Texas and around the country.

• As a volunteer-run club, we depend on active family involvement. Parents serve alongside their students throughout the year both at club meetings and at tournaments.
