Setup:
This status is used while the tournament is still being setup.
Open:
This status means tournament registration is open. Families can register for the tournament.
Drops Only:
This status means only registration drops are allowed. There are no new entries allowed but families can drop entries.
Closed:
This status means registration is currently closed for the tournament. There are no adds or drops allowed. Please contact the tournament director with any questions.
Completed:
This status means the tournament is completed.
2025 Capitol Day
Stoa Families are Invited to Capitol Day 2025!
Do you want to put the Stoa motto (Speaking boldly. Changing the World for Christ) into practice? Capitol Day is an event that will make a change and defend your private homeschool rights!
The goal of Capitol Day is to provide information about private home education to our California state legislators and their staff in a friendly, professional manner. This also allows legislators and their staff the opportunity to visit with real homeschool families.
Capitol Day is a two day event.
Wednesday, January 29th is training day for all our participating families. We will go over the legislative process and equip attendees to visit their state legislators the following day.
Lunch will be provided on Wednesday, January 29th.
Thursday the 30th will take place at the Sacramento Capitol. Attendees will break off into assigned groups and visit legislator offices to deliver homeschool information packets and talk with legislators about private home education.
There will be Capitol tours available in the afternoon once visits are complete.

Registration opens December 09, 2024 at 8AM PST Registration closes December 18, 2024 at 5PM PST
Registration is considered complete when:
Both competitors are registered (TP)
Parent judge registration is completed
Payment is received by Stripe
Competitor Eligibility: Any student who meets the requirements set forth in the Stoa Eligibility Rules may participate. We will be following the https://www.stoausa.org/about-nitoc
Please ensure that your Stoa membership is complete before attempting to register for this tournament. Stoa membership is not available on this site. Please go to https://stoahub.org/ for information on becoming a member of Stoa.
Refund Policy: NO REFUND AFTER REGISTRATION CLOSES. All refund requests must be submitted to tournament registrar at tof2televate@gmail.com.
