The 5th Annual Codename California Christmas Challenge aka Early C4! 

This year Christmas comes early!

November 21st - 22nd, 2024

This is a NITOC qualifying tournament offering Team Policy, Lincoln Douglas, Parliamentary, Individual Policy, and all Limited Prep Speech events! We have one or two-day options: on Thursday we will offer Parli Prelims and Speech events: on Friday TP/LD and Parli Outrounds. This year we will celebrate Christmas early, as we are keeping all our Christmas party aspects intact!

You are invited to join us for one of the funest tournaments in the nation!

Registration Opens on Wednesday, October 16th at 12:00pm PST (see deadlines below).

Waitlisted?? If the event you want to register for is already waitlisted, please still sign up for that event as we are working on renting additional space from our church facility. This tournament may fill early so please register early.

Christmas Party Details (Special events for C4)

I. Costume Competition 

This tournament is jam-packed with fun, starting with our Friday costume competition!

  • This year costumes may be worn all of Friday (Nov 22nd) including the awards ceremony.
  • Costume theme: is the Spirit of Christmas.
  • Costumes are 100% optional.
  • No costumes on Thursday, normal tournament attire is still required on Thursday.
  • The competition will take place during dinner on Friday night and will be determined by popular vote.
  • The winner will be recognized and receive a gift card. 

II. Pizza Dinner

Our pizza dinner is back and will be served during our festive Parli Finals for only $8.00.

III. Christmas Baking Competition

Bring your best HOMEMADE Christmas cookies or favorite dessert and our "celebrity" panel - will do a blind taste test to pick a winner. Students and parents alike may enter. The winner will be recognized and receive a gift card.

IV. Gift Exchange

Our In-Famous Nativity Story Superfast Group Gift Exchange is back and always a fan favorite! This year we will be awarding the best gift given, so you have two ways to win.

  • To participate simply bring a wrapped $10 gift (can be boys or girls) the more unique/funny/special the better. 
  • The best gift given will be determined by popular vote

Late Registration ($25 late fee): October 23rd  - November 6th, 11:59pm PST
Deadline to Drop with a Full Refund: October 23rd

Tournament Champion Award: Helmet of Salvation

Judging: EACH registered family needs to have a parent judging for them every day of the tournament, judging every other round/pattern. Students will need to have their judge physically with them at check-in and for the duration of the tournament. Thank you for your assistance in keeping our tournament running on time. Please plan on judging every other round, and check with the ballot push table 45-30 minutes before each round to see what the judging needs are for the upcoming round. The Ballot Push Team will be happy to see you!

Meals: You can order meals for Lunch on Thursday, Dinner on Thursday, and Lunch on Friday! Check the Meals Tab for more details. Please order by November 5th.

Payment: Registration is not complete until your fees have been paid. This can be done automatically at the end of the registration process.
