Parliamentary Round 5:

1. The year is 2035. Scientists have successfully brought back from extinction the Dire wolf.  Peer-reviewed research has demonstrated that the Dire wolf is ready to survive and reproduce on its own. Resolved: Release the Dire wolves into the wild. 

2. The year is 2035: AI Has taken over 75% of jobs. GDP is up and unemployment is at an all time high. Resolved: Implement Universal Basic Income. 

3. The year is 2035. Cyberattacks have crippled the nation's infrastructure. Power and water has become unreliable due to frequent outages. The perpetrators of the attacks are using advanced encryption technologies developed by US companies to remain hidden from authorities. Resolved: Mandate all encryption technologies developed in the US provide backdoor access for government investigations. 

Parliamentary Round 6:

1. NIL is doing more harm than good to college sports. 

2. Trump cost Pierre Poilievre the election. 

3. IKEA is the ideal location for a first date.

Parliamentary Double Octofinals:

1. Resolved: Beauty is objective.
2. A flat tax is more just than a graduated tax.
3. This house would amend the 22nd amendment to allow for a 3rd presidential term.

Parliamentary Otcofinals:

1. Tipping culture has gone too far.

2. In order to receive Medicaid benefits, those able to work should be required to work.

3. Ukraine should be allowed to join NATO.

Parliamentary Quarterfinals:

1. Protectionist Tariffs are superior to free trade in the United States.

2. This house would ban pharmaceutical advertising.

3. In politics, experience should be valued above new blood.

Parliamentary Semifinals:

1. Resolved: Aristotle was right in viewing virtue as the mean between two extremes. 

2. Resolved: Virtue ethics is superior to deontological ethics. 

3. Resolved: Nuclear power is the future of clean energy

4. Resolved: The banning of lethal autonomous weapons ought to be added to the 4th protocol of the Geneva Convention.

5. Resolved: On balance, in the United States, the benefits of presidential executive orders outweigh the harms.
