Script Submission
All competitors with prepared speeches must complete the script submission process.
Important dates and deadlines:
Script Submission opens: Monday, October 6 at 8:00 am CST
Early deadline: Wednesday, October 22 at 11:59 pm CST
Regular deadline: Monday, October 27 at 11:59 pm CST
Corrections deadline: Thursday, October 30 at 11:59 CST
Students must submit all scripts by Monday, October 27 at 11:59 pm CST to avoid being dropped from an event and charged drop fees. There is a $20 per speech dropped event fee.
You will receive a confirmation email once your script has been received and approved. Please save a copy of this confirmation email on your phone or print it out and have it with you at the tournament.
There will be an early script submission prize drawing! Each script submitted by Wednesday, October 22 at 11:59 pm CST is worth one entry into the drawing. Two winners will be chosen.

- Follow the script submission guidelines and use forms found here. Watch this short video for help. See other helpful resources below.
- Combine each speech into a single pdf file. Name the file correctly: Last Name, First Name-event.pdf
- Submit your script HERE
- Correct or Celebrate! If your script is returned for corrections, complete any requirements in a timely manner.
