Servant’s Heart Award

Jan 3, 1968 - March 22, 2022
Lisa Fong served Response and Stoa faithfully and enthusiastically from the moment she joined this community. She took the initiative to spearhead a junior speech club when Response
didn't have one, organized Response's first speech-only tournament, and led our judge orientation & community judge outreach program. Lisa was always looking for ways to improve the club,
benefit Stoa, and help others. She mentored countless students and parents, and was constantly selfless with the amount of time and effort she gave to helping others and running tournaments
over the 7 years we were blessed to have her. We miss her dearly, but know that her memory lives on as our club and tournament continue to reap the fruit of the seeds she
planted and tended.

Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint. -Isaiah 40:30-31
