Script Submission Instructions
Opens: Monday, December 8, 2025 at 8:00 am PST
Closes: Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 11:59 pm PT
ALL scripts MUST be submitted electronically and approved on or before the by the submission close date. NO late scripts will be accepted.
Scripts not received by the submission and or approved by the close date will result in the competitor being dropped from the event without refund.
1. Read the Script Submission Guidelines
Log in to StoaHub and carefully review the guidelines that apply to your event:

Before you begin:
Watch RAPID REVIEW six minute video for help! Even if you have seen it before, it is always helpful to refresh your memory.
2. Prepare Your Script Submission Form
Complete the appropriate Script Submission Form with a parent or coach:
3. Combine Your Materials Into ONE PDF File
Each event’s required materials must be merged into a single PDF. You may use:

- Any PDF scanner app (search “PDF Scanner App” in your app store)

4. Name Your File Correctly
Use this format: LastName, FirstName – Event.pdf Example:
Twain, Mark – DI.pdf
5. Upload Your Script
You will upload your script at the bottom of this page in the section labeled “Upload Scripts.”
How the upload area works:
- If you registered for a speech event that requires script submission, you will see a list of the events requiring your script. Upload your completed PDF for each required event there.
- If you did not register for any events requiring a script, the upload box will say: “No Script Submission Entries Found.”
This means you do not need to submit anything.
Checking approval status:
This same page is where you will:
- Confirm final approval when revisions (if any) are successfully completed.
- See whether your script has been returned for revisions needed.
- Upload revised scripts in the Script Submission Revision section.
Returned Scripts & Resubmissions
A script will only be returned if revisions are needed. Returned scripts will include notes explaining what must be corrected.
Resubmission Policy:
- Students may submit up to 3 total attempts** (the initial submission + two revisions).
- Returned scripts must be resubmitted within 48 hours.
- If a correction is not resubmitted within 48 hours, the competitor loses all remaining attempts and will no longer be allowed to resubmit the script.
- If, after the third attempt, the script still requires revisions, no additional submissions will be accepted, even if the submission window is still open.

- This means the script cannot be submitted for approval, and the competitor must drop the event before the script submission deadline in order to receive a refund.
- The tournament will not drop the event for the competitor before the submission deadline.
**Note: Each revised script is treated as a new submission.
