Beacon at the Bay Juniors Tournament
Welcome! There will two rounds for the following categories:
- Junior Apologetics
- Junior Impromptu
- Junior Platforms
Eligibility: Junior events are open to any student who, as of October 1, 2025, was 8, 9, 10 or 11 years old.
Students may register for up to three events @ $10 per event
Time Limits
Please note time limits for each event:
- Apologetics has a five minute maximum w/ three minutes for preparation
- Impromptu has a three minute maximum w/ two minutes for preparation
- Platforms have a seven minute time limit (Slam has a 5 minute time limit)
Judges: Our elder competitors will be serving as judges for the junior's tournament. However, in order to judge juniors, elder competitors must be 14 years or older, or have one or more prior years of competition experience.
Attire: Tournament attire is Sunday best.
Awards: All competitors will be acknowledged at the award ceremony.
