FINAL PREP FOR NATIONAL COMPETITION
APRIL 23 & 25
Are you passionate about civil discourse and equipping the next generation with the tools to bridge divides, not widen them? Debate teaches students empathy
by challenging them to understand and argue both sides of an issue—building critical thinking, grace under pressure, and respect for differing views.
Who makes a great judge?
We’re looking for judges like YOU—people with real-world experience who want to make a lasting impact. No prior debate experience required—just a willingness to listen, encourage, and offer feedback.
Resolutions:
Lincoln Douglas: Resolved: Practical skills should be valued over theoretical knowledge.
Team Policy: Resolved: The United States Federal Government should substantially reform its policy toward one or more countries in Central/South America.
Parliamentary Debate: Each round the competitors receive a new resolution and have 20 minutes to prepare for debate.
