Lincoln Douglas (LD) Value Debate
We will have 6 prelim rounds followed by Quarter Finals and Finals. We will have power matching. Instant decision making and immediate judge feedback.
Resolved: Practical skills should be valued over theoretical knowledge.
Statement of Purpose: The purpose of Lincoln Douglas Value Debate is to train Christian home school students in the skills of presentation, critical thinking, research, and analysis of basic values in an environment of honorable competition, to cultivate maturity, wisdom, grace, and poise, bringing glory to Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Timing: LD will be single flighted. Please be prepared to self time debates.
