Script Submission 2026 Instructions
Opens: Friday, March 27th, 2025 at 8:00 am PST

ALL scripts MUST be submitted electronically by the submission close date. NO late scripts will be accepted. Scripts not received by the submission close date will result in the competitor being dropped from the event without refund.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Physical Signatures Required: Both the competitor and their parent Script MUST physically sign the Script Submission form. Forms with typed signatures WILL NOT be accepted or approved.
Correct Tournament Name and Date: Please make sure to have the correct tournament name and current date on the Script Submission form. Forms submitted with incorrect tournament name will be returned for revisions.
How to Submit Scripts Electronically

Log in to StoaHub and carefully review the guidelines that apply to your event:

Even if you have seen it before, it is always helpful to refresh your memory.
3. Prepare Your Script Submission Form
Complete the appropriate Script Submission Form with a parent or coach. Include initials and signatures.
4. Combine Your Materials Into ONE PDF File
Each speech event’s required materials must be merged into a single PDF. You can scan into a single file or use a PDF joiner such as:

Any PDF scanner app (search “PDF Scanner App” in your app store)

For large files use CompressPDF to compress your pdf file.
5. Name Your File Correctly.

Use this format: LastName, FirstName – Event.pdf
-
Example: Twain, Mark – DI.pdf
6. Upload Your Script

At the bottom of this page, you will see a list of the events requiring script submission.

Upload your script in the section labeled “Upload Scripts.”

Script file must be less than 100mb
Once you hit upload, you’ll see your status change and the script submission team will review it.
Checking approval status:
This same page is where you will:

Receive confirmation of an approved script.

See whether your script has been returned for revisions needed. Notes from the reviewer will be included with the script.

Upload revised scripts in the Script Submission Revision section.

Have the opportunity to chat with the reviewer concerning any questions you may have.
Submission Policy:

Students will have up to 4 total opportunities per event to submit their script ** (the initial submission + three revisions).

If your script is returned for corrections, complete any requirements promptly and resubmit within 24 hours.

If after the final resubmission, the script still needs corrections, no additional resubmissions will be allowed. The event entry will be dropped.
