Please plan to arrive 45-60 minutes before your judging slot begins to allow time for training.

EXCEPTION On Tuesday, March 17th only, please arrive 30 minutes prior to your judging slot due to the events offered on that day only.

 

You Are Qualified - No Prior Experience Necessary

Thank you for supporting our students at the 2026 Continental Divide Challenge at Arma Dei Academy. Community and alumni judges are a vital part of our speech and debate tournaments.

The students will benefit from your written evaluation of their performances. It is a significant part of their learning experience and growth, and your investment is greatly appreciated! Gather friends from your office, church or community group and be a part of encouraging our future leaders.

Judges should have graduated from high school and be at least 18 years old.

Registration

Please register using tab titled "Community and Alumni Judge Registration".

Upon registration you will automatically receive a confirmation email with the subject, "Judge Registration for 2026 Continental Divide Challenge (CDC)". Please check your junk mail folder if you don't see this important message. Contact us at cdc.signup@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Schedule

We ask for a 3 to 3.5-hour commitment for judge training, judging a round, and completing ballots. Arrive 45-60 minutes prior to the scheduled round for training, 2 hours to judge the round, and 20 minutes to fill out your ballot(s).

EXCEPTION On Tuesday, March 17th only, please arrive 30 minutes prior to your judging slot due to the events offered on that day only.

You may volunteer to serve for just one event, several events, one day, or multiple days!

To honor your time and effort, we offer complimentary food and drinks in our hospitality room. 

Parking

Parking is free and conveniently located on site.

Orientation

No previous experience is required. We will provide training before you judge an event.
