All competitors with prepared speeches must complete the script submission process.
Script Submission Opens: Friday, Feb 27th at 10:00 am MST
Submission Deadline: Friday, March 6th at 8:00 pm MST
Final Compliance Deadline: Thursday, March 12th at 8:00 pm MST
Students must submit all initial scripts by Friday, Feb 27th at 8:00 pm MST to avoid being dropped from an event and charged drop fees. Students must also have their script in compliance no later than Thursday, March 12th at 8:00pm MST to avoid being dropped from that event and charged drop fees.
STUDENTS WITH AN APPROVAL FOR A SCRIPT FROM CORNFIELD CLASH MAY EMAIL THEIR APPROVAL NOTICE TO US AT STOASCRIPTSCO@GMAIL.COM TO RECEIVE AN APPROVAL FOR THE SAME EVENT FOR CDC AS LONG AS NO CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE TO THE SCRIPT.
It is the student's responsibility to:
1 - ensure initial submission deadline is adhered to
2 - ensure that all corrections requested by a script reviewer are accomplished and resubmitted within 24 hours
3 - utilize parents and coaches as needed to bring scripts into compliance and reduce the number of additional reviews needed
Our script submission process:
1) If your script is returned to you (after the initial submission), the student and parent will be notified via email of the corrections necessary, and must resubmit a corrected version within 24 hours.
2) If second submission is sent back again, both parent and coach will be notified via email, and must work with the coach to ensure compliance for an additional resubmission. Resubmission must be made within 24 hours.
3) If the third submission is still not in compliance, the Script Lead will contact the parent and/or coach and a FINAL fourth submission must be received within 24 hours. No further submissions beyond this will be accepted.
NO MORE THAN FOUR TOTAL SUBMISSIONS ARE ALLOWED, and students are not guaranteed four submissions if they do not abide by the 24 hour requirement on resubmitting when corrections are requested.

3. Combine each speech into a single pdf file. Name the file correctly: Last Name, First Name-event.pdf
4. Submit your script HERE (once the submission window opens).
5. If your script is returned for corrections, complete any requirements within 24 hours to ensure timely completion of the review for competition.
