We can't wait to hear your stories! If you're competing in Storytelling, you'll need to register your story's title and source(s) before the tournament. The Storytelling category will be announced 14 days before the tournament begins.

How to Register Your Story
- Go to StoaHub and click the link to the Script Compliance Tool (SCT) at the top of the homepage.
- At the bottom of the SCT page, click the box labeled Storytelling.
- From the drop-down menu, select The Cross Timbers Classic.
- Fill out the form and click Submit.
There's nothing to upload. Storytelling doesn't use a pre-written script.
Quick Rules Reminders
- Give credit: Any type of source is allowed, but you must credit the author and source. List both in the SCT, and name the author and title in your introduction during competition.
- Stay on topic: Your story must fit this tournament's announced category. Going off topic is a rules violation.
- One story, every round: Tell the same registered story in every round of the tournament.
- Keep it fresh: You may not use a story you've already told in Storytelling at a previous tournament.

What the statuses mean
- Setup
- The tournament is still being set up.
- Open
- Registration is open — families can register for the tournament.
- Drops Only
- No new entries are allowed, but families can drop existing ones.
- Closed
- Registration is closed — no adds or drops. Contact the tournament director with questions.
- Completed
- The tournament is finished.
